The History of TEAM
The TEAM was organized in 1986 as a result of discussions between the then State Division of Job Development and Training and the Directors of the fifteen local workforce development areas. TEAM’s original mission was to be a vehicle to enhance staff, board, and organizational performance. TEAM’s role remains largely unchanged today; to enhance, support and improve the capacity of local boards and staff, and to advocate for local issues in deliberations with the state and federal workforce development departments.
